#EventThursdays: (DevTalks)Technology, Industrialization and Economic Growth by Civic Innovation Lab

DESCRIPTION

Hello,
It’s Devtalks time again!
At this edition, we're bringing Amb Yemi Dipeolu, Executive Adviser to the President, Office of the Vice President for a talk on “Technology, Industrialization and Economic Growth” onFriday, November 17, 2017 by 5pm.
He will be speaking, on a davos-style panel, about government policies centered on technology and industrialization and the economic growth demand. The factors behind technology and industrialization growth can only be identified with an exposure to economic policies. These policies are relevant to the development of startups across the ecosystem.
Ambassador Adeyemi Dipeolu (PhD) is currently the Special Adviser to the President for Economic Matters in the Office of the Vice-President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. He was Director of the Capacity Development Division of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) till December 2015.
In this role, he directed technical cooperation and advisory services to African countries. He was a member of the Technical Committee and Head of Secretariat of the High Level Panel on Illicit Financial Flows from Africa.
So register to attend and join us for another exciting and educative experience.
See you there!

Personal Excerpt
This seems like a really great event to be at and for me it would be another opportunity to visit Civic Innovation Lab that is fast coming up on the Abuja startup scene and is currently working to contribute massively to the burgeoning startup ecosystem in Africa. The choice of the speaker is also good as it would enable Nigerian startups to know how the present government is planning to ensure that our sector would thrive or not thrive within their framework of policies or projects that they want to undertake.
I know I would be there,
would you?

Best regards,
Muna Ejieji
